Operation against PKK propaganda during Newroz
38 suspects identified as having engaged in propaganda for the terrorist organization PKK during Newroz events held in Istanbul and Kocaeli have been detained.

Security forces launched an investigation following reports that propaganda in favor of the terrorist organization PKK/KCK-PYD/YPG was being conducted during Newroz events in Istanbul.
As part of the ongoing efforts, operations were carried out at identified addresses in Istanbul and Kocaeli. During the operations, 38 suspects believed to have engaged in organizational propaganda were apprehended and detained.
LARGE QUANTITY OF MATERIAL SEIZED
Searches conducted at the addresses resulted in the seizure of 2 handguns, 1 blank-firing pistol, 2 magazines, and 307 cartridges, as well as organizational banners, banned publications, and digital materials belonging to the suspects.
It was reported that processing of the detained suspects is ongoing.
