Operation against Ramazan Bayğara’s criminal organization! 270 suspects apprehended
The Ministry of Interior announced that 270 members of an organized crime group led by Ramazan Bayğara, who is wanted via a Red Notice and currently detained abroad, were apprehended in the “Kuyu-37” operations conducted across 16 provinces centered in Adana.

Under the coordination of the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the General Directorate of Security's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Department, and as a result of the work carried out by the Adana Provincial Police Department's KOM Branch, "Kuyu-37" operations were conducted in Adana, Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Osmaniye, Mersin, Niğde, Bursa, Antalya, Şanlıurfa, Gaziantep, Kırklareli, Batman, Mardin, Muş, and Sakarya.
Investigations were launched against the members of the organized crime group, who were determined to have been involved in 83 different criminal acts, for the following offenses: establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes, intentional homicide, attempted intentional homicide, intentional injury, qualified robbery, manufacturing and trafficking of narcotic substances, arms trafficking, violation of Law No. 6136, qualified fraud, theft, assuming criminal liability, violation of privacy, insulting a public official due to their duty, and intentional damage to public property.
During the operations, 43 unlicensed pistols, 11 unlicensed rifles, 5 AK-47 automatic weapons, 2 automatic weapons, 4 hand grenades, various amounts of narcotic substances, large amounts of foreign currency and Turkish Lira, as well as numerous digital materials and radios were seized. Additionally, 8 residences, 2 plots of land, 1 automobile, 4 motorcycles, and 19 bank accounts were temporarily seized.
