17 suspects have been detained in an operation against the terrorist organization ISIS in Istanbul.
In the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigation Bureau, it was determined that 27 individuals were operating on behalf of the terrorist organization ISIS.
Acting on the detention orders issued by the prosecutor's office, teams from the Istanbul Police Department carried out the operation and detained 17 suspects.
It was learned that search efforts to apprehend the remaining suspects are ongoing.
