Following the detention of Barış Pehlivan, Seda Selek, and Serhan Asker, Halk TV program coordinator Kürşad Oğuz was also detained from the channel. Oğuz has been taken to the courthouse to provide a statement.

The operation against the media continues. Journalist Barış Pehlivan was detained on the grounds of an interview he conducted with expert witness S.B., whom Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu had exposed. Following Pehlivan, detention warrants were also issued for Seda Selek and Serhan Asker.
The operation continues today. After the 3 journalists, Halk TV Editor-in-Chief Suat Toktaş and Halk TV Programs Manager Kürşad Oğuz were also detained.
Toktaş and Oğuz, who were detained from the Halk TV Istanbul office, were taken to the courthouse to have their statements taken.
