Operation Heroes against terrorist organization in 12 provinces! 42 caves and shelters destroyed

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that 42 caves, shelters, and depots belonging to the separatist terrorist organization were destroyed during the 'Operation Heroes' conducted in 12 provinces.

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that 42 caves, shelters, and depots were destroyed in the "Heroes" operation conducted against the PKK terrorist organization across 12 provinces.

In a statement on his social media account, Yerlikaya stated that they continue to destroy the terrorists' dens one by one.

Sharing the information that 42 caves, shelters, and depots were destroyed in 12 provinces during the Heroes operation, which was carried out to destroy the caves and shelters prepared by members of the separatist terrorist organization to take refuge in rural areas during the winter months, Yerlikaya noted the following:

"In the Heroes operations, which included J-SIHAs and ATAK helicopters in Şırnak, Erzincan, Muş, Van, Bingöl, Hatay, Hakkari, Kars, Mardin, Tunceli, Siirt, and Bitlis, 7 AK-47 infantry rifles, 5 anti-personnel mines, 112.5 kilograms of explosive material, 2 PKMS machine guns, 33 hand grenades, 9 artillery, mortar, and howitzer munitions, 15 IEDs, one RPG-7 rocket launcher, 18 RPG-7 rocket launcher propellant charges, one G-3 infantry rifle, one mortar weapon, 2 anti-aircraft munitions, 3 grenade launcher munitions, 127 canisters (used in IED construction), 1,249 rounds of ammunition (including 7.62 mm long-barreled, 7.62x54 machine gun, 14.5 mm anti-aircraft, and 12.7 mm anti-aircraft munitions), 22 radios, and a large quantity of food, living supplies, medical materials, and organizational documents were seized."

Emphasizing that the shelters prepared by the terrorist organization for use during the winter months were identified and destroyed one by one, Yerlikaya stated, "I congratulate our heroic Gendarmerie. May God protect them. We conduct operations 365 days a year, through all 4 seasons, 12 months, day and night. Our fight against terrorism will continue with determination until the last terrorist is neutralized."
