Operation in Ağrı! Synthetic drugs seized in an Iranian-plated truck
The drug problem is one of the major issues for Turkey, as it is for the entire world. Most recently, in an operation in Ağrı supported by narcotics dogs, nearly 25 kilograms of synthetic drugs brought into Turkey in an Iranian-plated heavy vehicle were seized.

Drug shipments to Turkey via Iran continue. During a search of a truck in Ağrı, 24 kilograms and 810 grams of drugs were seized, and the Iranian driver was taken into custody.
Teams from the Provincial Police Department's Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch stopped an Iranian-plated truck at the Şeker Junction checkpoint on the Ağrı-Erzurum highway.
During the search of the truck with the support of a narcotics detector dog, 24 kilograms and 810 grams of liquid synthetic drugs were seized. The teams took the Iranian driver into custody.
