Operations against FETÖ in 17 provinces: 39 suspects apprehended

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that 39 suspects were apprehended in the Kıskaç-27 operations conducted against FETÖ across 17 provinces.

The Kıskaç-27 operation was carried out against the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) in Adana, Antalya, Balıkesir, Bursa, Çorum, Denizli, Edirne, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Kocaeli, Manisa, Malatya, Mardin, Osmaniye, Samsun, Şanlıurfa, and Zonguldak.

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that 39 suspects were apprehended within the scope of the operation and a large amount of digital material was seized. 

Yerlikaya provided the following information regarding those apprehended in the operation:

“It was determined that they were active within the organization's so-called 'Military Secret Structure, Police Secret Structure, Current Structure, and Finance Structure,'

They communicated via payphones and were users of the organization's encrypted communication program 'ByLock', 

Their names were mentioned in testimonies and identifications, and they had final prison sentences and arrest warrants against them within the scope of FETÖ investigations.”
