The ÇEDES project, which is frequently debated in the public eye, continues to be implemented at full speed across 81 provinces.

Most recently, TÖB-SEN Provincial Representative Serkan Bebek stated that his union activities regarding ÇEDES and religious sects were being treated as a crime and that he had been summoned by the Osmangazi District Directorate of National Education to provide a defense.

As reported by BirGün, Bebek stated that he had organized protests across Turkey against ÇEDES that had made an impact, and that this situation had disturbed the district directorate of education. Bebek emphasized that the various activities being carried out were of a nature that could harm children's pedagogy and psychology. Furthermore, he alleged that the realities regarding religious sects were being ignored and that the actual culprits were being protected.
