Orange alert issued for 15 provinces, yellow alert for 16
AFAD announced that governorates, district governorships, and provincial AFAD directorates in the 31 provinces issued warnings for tomorrow have been notified, and that teams are on high alert.

The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) has announced that orange meteorological warnings have been issued for 15 provinces and yellow warnings for 16 provinces for tomorrow.
In the statement made by AFAD, it was noted that according to the latest information received from the General Directorate of Meteorology and the assessments made, orange meteorological warnings have been issued for Adıyaman, Batman, Bingöl, Bolu, Diyarbakır, Düzce, Erzincan, Hakkari, Karabük, Kastamonu, Sakarya, Tunceli, Şanlıurfa, Şırnak, and Zonguldak.
The statement indicated that yellow meteorological warnings were issued for Ağrı, Ardahan, Bartın, Bilecik, Bitlis, Bursa, Elazığ, Erzurum, Kars, Kocaeli, Malatya, Mardin, Mersin, Muş, Siirt, and Yalova.
The statement, which conveyed that governorates, district governorships, and provincial AFAD directorates in the provinces under warning have been notified, emphasized that teams are on high alert and are responding rapidly to incoming reports.
The statement reminded citizens to be cautious against negative conditions such as floods, flash floods, lightning, landslides, local hail, roof dislodgement, tree/pole toppling, stove/chimney poisoning, icing and frost events, and disruptions in transportation.
