ORHAN PAMUK ABSENT FROM NOBEL PRIZES SECTION
In the video, while achievements ranging from sports to music, and from Republic celebrations to the Cyprus Peace Operation were conveyed, some Turkish scientists who won Nobel Prizes were also shown alongside Atatürk. While 2015 Nobel Chemistry Prize laureate Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar and 2024 Nobel Economics Prize laureate Prof. Dr. Daron Acemoğlu were highlighted in the Nobel Prizes section, the fact that author Orhan Pamuk, who brought Turkey its first Nobel Prize in Literature in 2006, was not included drew attention. The Nobel Prizes announcement was reflected on the screen with the phrase, "With our Nobel-winning scientists, Ata."
