ÖSYM to hold 4 exams this weekend
The Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) will hold 4 exams on Saturday, April 20, and Sunday, April 21.

According to a written statement from ÖSYM, the e-YDS 2024/3 (Persian/Greek/Bulgarian), the 2024 Dentistry Specialization Training Entrance Exam (2024-DUS 1st Term), and the 2024 Level Determination Exam for Foreign Higher Education Diploma Equivalency in Dentistry (2024-STS Dentistry 1st Term) will be administered on April 20. On April 21, the 2024 Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (2024-ALES/1) will be held.
In the statement, ÖSYM President Prof. Dr. Bayram Ali Ersoy, whose views on the matter were included, stated that the DUS and STS Dentistry 1st Term exams will be held on Saturday in 294 halls with the participation of 5,912 candidates, noting that the exams will begin at 10:15 and end at 12:45.
Ersoy, who noted that 893 personnel, including security officers, will be on duty during the exams, stated that the exam results will be announced on May 16.
Providing information that 1,158 candidates will participate in the foreign language exam to be held electronically on the same day, Ersoy noted the following:
"In the exam to be held in 17 halls in Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, and Adana, 151 personnel, including security officers, will be on duty. The exam, which will be conducted in Persian, Greek, and Bulgarian, will begin at 13:45. Candidates will be given 180 minutes to answer 80 questions. The exam will end at 16:45. The results of the exams administered in an electronic environment will be announced on the same day. On Sunday, the first of the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exams will be held. 189,345 candidates will participate in the exam, which will be administered in 94 exam centers in 83 provinces, including Nicosia and Bishkek. 533 buildings and 7,448 halls will be used for the exam. The exam, in which 25,684 personnel, including security, will take part, will begin at 10:15. In the exam, candidates will be given 150 minutes to answer a total of 100 questions consisting of numerical and verbal tests. The exam will end at 12:45. The exam results will be announced on May 10 and will be valid for 5 years from the date of announcement."
Wishing success to the candidates who will take the exams, Ersoy explained that provincial and district population directorates will be kept open on the day of the exam for candidates who have lost their identity cards, do not have an identity card, or whose identity cards do not contain an identification number and photograph.
