Owner of Fiko Ocakbaşı arrested
Nineteen out of 31 people detained in an operation in Istanbul targeting the organized crime group known as the "Sarallar" have been arrested. Famous restaurant owner Fikret Aydoğdu is among those arrested.

In an operation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Organized Crime Investigation Bureau, a large-scale investigation was conducted into the organized crime group known as the "Sarallar," which is alleged to be led by Alaattin İlyas Saral. While detention warrants were issued for 58 suspects, 19 of the 31 individuals apprehended were arrested.
OWNER OF FİKO OCAKBAŞI ARRESTED
As part of the operation, Fikret Aydoğdu, the owner of the famous restaurant Fiko Ocakbaşı, was also detained and subsequently arrested. The suspects appeared before a judge on charges including "establishing and managing an armed criminal organization," "qualified extortion," "deprivation of liberty," and "threats."
19 PEOPLE ARRESTED, 12 RELEASED
Of the suspects referred to the duty magistrate at the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan, 19 were arrested, while 12 were released under judicial control. Arrest warrants have been issued for the fugitive suspects.
The suspects are alleged to have been involved in 14 different crimes, including "intentional injury" and "endangering general safety." During the operation, it was determined that 2 suspects were already in prison, and 5 were abroad.
