Owner of the car that caught fire in Eyüpsultan identified: Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı's son barely escaped the million-dollar Ferrari
Celal Alaz Adalı, son of Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı, was behind the wheel of the 20 million lira Ferrari that caught fire and turned to ash while driving in Eyüpsultan. The driver managed to escape at the last moment as the car turned into a fireball following an explosion.

In Istanbul's Eyüpsultan district, a luxury Ferrari-brand vehicle with license plate 34 CAA 08 caught fire for an as-yet-undetermined reason on the Hasdal-Kemerburgaz road. The incident occurred around 13:00.
SMOKE ROSE FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT
According to the information obtained, smoke suddenly began to rise from the engine compartment of the luxury vehicle, which is valued at 20 million lira. Noticing the smoke, the driver immediately pulled the vehicle to the side of the road and attempted to intervene with a fire extinguisher. However, the efforts were insufficient.
An explosion occurred shortly after he attempted to intervene with the vehicle. Following the explosion, the car turned into a fireball. Police teams dispatched to the scene upon notification secured the perimeter, while fire crews intervened in the blaze. The fire was brought under control, but the vehicle was completely reduced to ash.
THE NAME OF THE DRIVER HAS EMERGED
While there were no deaths or injuries in the accident, the ownership of the burned vehicle and the identity of the driver remained a mystery for a while. However, it was later learned that the person behind the wheel of the luxury Ferrari was 37-year-old Celal Alaz Adalı, the son of Beşiktaş Club President and businessman Serdal Adalı.
Footage of the vehicle engulfed in flames was recorded by citizens in the vicinity using their mobile phones.
