The 'absolute nullity' debate was addressed at the CHP Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting. One MYK member said, "Let's do the same thing here that we did in Istanbul." Özgür Özel responded, "Istanbul's situation is different, this place's situation is different. This is the great CHP, do not comment, just say it is not on our agenda. Absolute nullity is not on our agenda."

The CHP Central Executive Board (MYK) held a meeting on Monday, chaired by Özgür Özel, at the Chairman's Istanbul Working Office.

According to what Nefes Gazetesi columnist Aytunç Erkin reported from the meeting, the "absolute nullity" debate was brought to the agenda.

Upon a CHP MYK member saying, "Let's do the same thing here that we did in Istanbul," Özgür Özel stated, "You have spoken incorrectly. Istanbul's situation is different, this place's situation is different. This is the great CHP, do not comment, just say it is not on our agenda. Absolute nullity is not on our agenda."

"DISCUSSED WITH MANSUR YAVAŞ"

Özgür Özel addressed the phone call they had upon the request of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş during the MYK agenda.

Özel explained that they had a warm phone conversation with Mansur Yavaş, and stated that Yavaş does not have a problem with the party but that there are some issues in an institutional sense.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel also stated that there is no question of resignation from the mayorship or withdrawal from council memberships.
