Özgür Özel blocks Aytun Çıray for criticizing CHP over Amedspor! 'The tolerance he showed to a traitor...'

CHP leader Özgür Özel has blocked former MP Aytun Çıray on X after Çıray harshly criticized his party over Amedspor. Responding to Özel, Çıray stated, "Özgür Özel, the Amedspor supporter who cannot call Sheikh Said a 'traitor'... who says 'don't speak harshly and hurt Sheikh Said's family'... could not show me the same tolerance he showed to a traitor."

CHP Kuşadası Municipal Council Member Hamza Kürkçü distributed jerseys of Amedspor, the Diyarbakır representative that was promoted to the Süper Lig.

Former MP Aytun Çıray shared the images in question and leveled harsh criticisms at the CHP leadership.

"THE AEGEAN IS FALLING INTO THE HANDS OF SEPARATISTS"

In a post on his X account, Çıray wrote the following:

“From where to where... If you never criticize your party, like Halk TV and Sözcü TV do, this is what happens.

If the CHP is Atatürk's party, it should expel this person immediately. Right, Atatürkists? Beware!

The Aegean is falling into the hands of separatists. A police chief once said that İzmir has become one of the PKK's important training grounds.”



"AMEDSPOR-SUPPORTING ÖZGÜR ÖZEL COULD NOT SHOW ME THE TOLERANCE HE SHOWED TO A TRAITOR"

Following these remarks, Çıray shared a screenshot showing that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel had blocked him.

Addressing Özel, Çıray used the following expressions:

"Özgür Özel, the Amedspor supporter who cannot call Sheikh Said a 'traitor'... who says 'don't speak harshly and hurt Sheikh Said's family'... could not show me the same tolerance he showed to a traitor. Not only has he had me embargoed on 'comrade' TV channels for a long time, but now he has also blocked me on X. This intolerant, censorious mentality cannot bring democracy and cannot govern Turkey."
