Özgür Özel claims 'Murat Kurum is holding meetings': Under the pretext of having coffee

In a statement made after a meeting with CHP metropolitan, provincial, district, and town mayors in Ankara, Özel claimed that Murat Kurum has been meeting with CHP mayors "under the pretext of having coffee" and inviting them to the AKP with promises of "various opportunities," telling them, "You are very national. You must show a national stance."

Özgür Özel said the following regarding the claim in question:

"They tell me, Murat Kurum asks, ‘Can we have a coffee one-on-one?’ ‘Let's have one.’ ‘Sir, we looked here, we looked there, you are very national. You must show a national stance, I invite you to be a mayor for the ruling party, with these opportunities, with those opportunities.’

Murat Kurum, you might take the few you can carry, the ones who run off, to the opposition with you. The ruling party's mayors are in this hall, with me.
