Özel issued a statement regarding the attack by Israel on the Global Sumud Fleet, which was carrying aid to Gaza, accusing President Erdoğan of "fearing Trump" and calling on him to "get up from that table" regarding the Gaza Peace Council that targeted the fleet.

In his statement, Özgür Özel said, "The genocidal Israeli administration has carried out a cowardly attack on the Global Sumud Fleet, which was carrying aid to Gaza." He emphasized that this attack was claimed by the "Gaza Peace Council," in which President Erdoğan sits alongside US President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

REACTION TO THE COUNCIL'S STATEMENT

Özel stated that in the council's official statement, the people on the Sumud Fleet were referred to as "performative activists," and the posts of those supporting the fleet were described as "disgusting."

'YOU HAVE A FEAR OF TRUMP'

The CHP Chairman addressed President Erdoğan directly, stating the following:

"Oh Erdoğan, I have always said: You have no sensitivity toward Palestine; you have a fear of Trump! Until you get up from that table, every word you say is hypocrisy and insincerity. That table is a table of occupation for Gaza. Get up from that table before you hurt the Turkish nation and the Palestinians any further! Do not fear Trump, fear God."
