The 36th Civil Chamber of the Ankara Regional Court of Justice has suspended Özgür Özel, who won the chairmanship election against Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, as a precautionary measure, and ruled for the reinstatement of Kılıçdaroğlu and his administration.

Kılıçdaroğlu said, "Best wishes to Mr. Özgür for his new role." Calling for the avoidance of negative language, Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "It is necessary to avoid divisive rhetoric among the party's base. The CHP must protect its moral values."
