Hours before the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress, chairmanship candidate Özgür Özel addressed the delegates by sharing a video on his social media account with the note "Welcome."
Starting his words by saying, "We are waiting for everyone in Ankara with health and happiness," Özel said the following:
“Since the day I announced my candidacy, I first toured the provincial congresses one by one, but because there were many congresses on the same day, I later came to visit our delegates, you, and our administrators in the provinces I could not go to. We talked at length; there were even our members, party members, and your fellow citizens in front of the provincial buildings I visited. We addressed them first, then we talked together.”
