Özgür Özel had called on Bahçeli: MHP responds to the call for 'Imamoğlu trial to be broadcast on TRT'
Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Deputy Chairman İsmail Özdemir stated, "The perception that the CHP is trying to create regarding TRT, which allows the voice of the Turkish nation to be heard loudly not only in the Anatolian geography but also in the rest of the world, is futile."

MHP Deputy Chairman İsmail Özdemir reacted to the statement made by CHP Ankara Deputy Umut Akdoğan in front of the TRT General Directorate.
Özdemir said, "TRT is a distinguished institution of ours that is one of Turkey's most important brand values, brings together our traditions with innovation, and has made respectable contributions to our country by signing very valuable works and projects in the global competition in the field of digital broadcasting in recent times.
It is known to us that it does extremely positive and successful work when compared to other state broadcasting groups that have counterparts around the world."

Özdemir stated, "Under these circumstances, the perception that the CHP is trying to create regarding TRT, which allows the voice of the Turkish nation to be heard loudly not only in the Anatolian geography but also in the rest of the world, is futile.
TRT's work and activities are regulated by Law No. 2954, and its management mechanism continues its work in accordance with this law.
The CHP, which exudes suspicion, laziness, and corruption from everywhere it touches, should, above all else, read and understand the TRT law correctly and express its views by approaching the issue with a responsible understanding to that extent.
On this occasion, as the MHP, we state that we find TRT's work successful and that we observe its extremely diligent efforts not only to keep our national culture alive but also to realize our global goals," he said.
