Özgür Özel had said 'Mr. Tayyip, wait for 12 tomorrow': The 'historic gift' has been revealed

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel announced at his party's 'Defending the National Will' rally in Bayrampaşa that he would make striking statements at the CHP Headquarters tomorrow at 12:00.

Başarır had given clues about the statement in question during the live broadcast he attended yesterday.

Özel said the following:

“I am announcing it now, wait for 12 tomorrow. Your historic gift for the AK Party's founding anniversary is coming. Mr. Tayyip, wait for 12 tomorrow. The 'White Toros' gang is collapsing. The AK Party is collapsing. You think you are going to steal mayors from us, but let's see how you will face it? Tomorrow at 12, we will see both the white side and the black side!”

On the other hand, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır had given clues about the statement in question during a broadcast on Sözcü TV yesterday.

Başarır had said the following on the live broadcast:

“Within a few days, events much more serious and stomach-churning than the Attorney Mehmet Yıldırım case will emerge regarding a figure who held a high-level position in the AKP. Perhaps Mr. Özgür Özel, or perhaps another colleague of ours, will announce it.

It will be revealed that the evidence and confessions in these files were fabricated, that some people were profiting from this business, that some wanted to get rich, and that this was done in collaboration with certain centers within the judiciary. The Yıldırım case is the new Susurluk.

Why can't the prosecutor prepare an indictment? As soon as the confidentiality order is lifted, all sorts of things will come out. How people's statements were taken under the effective remorse law, and how the Kütahya file was whitewashed, will all be revealed.”

According to the report by Cumhuriyet, it is expected that detailed information will be provided regarding the relationships managed by Mücahit Birinci, the lawyer for former AKP MKYK member and confessor Murat Kapki, in the 'IMM case exchange' scandal.

It was revealed that former AKP MKYK member Mücahit Birinci had undertaken the defense of Murat Kapki, one of the businesspeople arrested as part of the investigation.

The CHP submitted the complaint petition prepared regarding the allegations that an "IMM case exchange" was created to the HSK (Council of Judges and Prosecutors) today.
