The Republican People's Party (CHP) took to the field in Bolu today for the 59th of its "The Nation Protects Its Will" rallies.
Regarding the names emerging in circles close to the government for the presidential race, Özel said, "Whether it's our boy, a son-in-law, an appointed minister who is a 'TikToker,' or Erdoğan himself, we have no preference regarding our opponent. Because we do not look at who is in front of us, but at whose eyes we are looking into. We are the party of the workers, those who work with the sweat of their brow, those who drop their sweat onto the soil to make it flourish, those who wait for their first sale in the shops they opened for honest earnings, and the young people whose dreams we want to build here."
CHP Chairman Özel said, "The person who complained about Ayşe Barım says, 'I don't know Barım, I saw that she went to Gezi, I got angry and complained.' All the artists said, 'Ayşe didn't send me.' In fact, one of them said that Yavuz Bingöl invited me. He was a libertarian back then, today he has become a coup supporter. He sat at Erdoğan's feet. If they had even a little bit of dignity, they would make a phone call and summon Yavuz Bingöl to give a statement. But Yavuz Bingöl did not commit a crime at Gezi; he is committing a crime today because he is a tool of the AKP's dark order!"
