Özgür Özel's response to Bahçeli: He has been messaging the instigator
CHP leader Özgür Özel stated that the list of 154 people targeted by the MHP was prepared by two individuals, and that one of them had been messaging the instigator of the Sinan Ateş murder. It had previously emerged that MHP Deputy Chairman İzzet Ulvi Yönter had exchanged messages with Tolgahan Demirbaş, one of the suspects in the Sinan Ateş assassination, while Semih Yalçın had stated that Özel was referring to them when he mentioned "two people."

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel stated at his party's group meeting that the list of 154 people targeted by the MHP was prepared by two individuals, and that one of them had been messaging the instigator of the Sinan Ateş murder.

It had previously emerged that MHP Deputy Chairman İzzet Ulvi Yönter had exchanged messages with Tolgahan Demirbaş, who is being tried as an instigator in the Sinan Ateş assassination case.
MESSAGE FROM MHP'S YÖNTER
According to the expert report, a message was sent to Tolgahan Demirbaş from MHP Deputy Chairman İzzet Ulvi Yönter at 19:37 on the day of the murder. One minute later, another conversation took place between Emre Yüksel and Tolgahan Demirbaş. At 19:53, Tolgahan Demirbaş, who received a message from Commissioner T.A., was then sent a message from a phone believed to be used by Aytaç Ataç. At 21:53, Demirbaş, who had a phone conversation with Ataç, subsequently called Emre Yüksel once more and spoke for nearly 2 minutes. At 22:10, Tolgahan Demirbaş, who spoke with Ömer Şanlı for 9 seconds, called Emre Yüksel and Aytaç Ataç in succession. He then spoke with Emre Yüksel two more times.
On the other hand, MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın had made a statement indicating that Özgür Özel was referring to them when he mentioned "two people."

Wherever I go, whoever I talk to, they know what the problem is. Those two have made a list of 154 names. They say they will settle scores with us. Mr. Bahçeli, if there is to be a settling of scores, let them settle scores with all 154 of us as they wish. The former President of the Ülkü Ocakları was shot in the middle of Ankara. Not one person sent a message, went to his funeral, or offered condolences. Now, one of those two has been messaging the instigator. There are those who know the content of the message. Those who know and have seen it must officially include it in the indictment. They are resisting that. They are profiling and targeting the 154 people who stood by Sinan Ateş's body left on the ground."
