Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel visited his party's Bursa Provincial Headquarters.

Speaking there, Özel announced his party's vote share. Sharing the poll results from the Panorama TR Research Company, Özel said:

"Compared to last month, our party increased its vote by half a point, while the AKP lost half a point. The CHP is once again the leading party with 35.4 percent, and the AKP is the second party with 31-something percent. We have consistently increased the 1.8-point gap from the local elections every month, and it has now reached 4 points."

'THE DEBT YOU LEFT IN BURSA IS 30 BILLION, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?'

Regarding the debate over the move to collect SGK debts from municipalities, Özel said, "There is a government trying to tie our hands. They will not succeed." Özel continued, "They say, 'Municipalities have a lot of debt to the SGK, we will send it to collection.' Municipalities have always had a lot of debt to the SGK. The debt left to us by the Bursa Municipality alone is 30 billion; what are you talking about? Turkey's most indebted municipalities are those that passed from the AK Party to the CHP. There is a government trying to tie our hands. They will not succeed."

'A COUP ATTEMPT UNDER ERDOĞAN'S INSTRUCTIONS'

Özel stated, "The cancellation of the election that Ekrem İmamoğlu won was a coup attempt through the judiciary. Those who said 'We will deliver an Ottoman slap' thought they had come to their senses with a democratic slap; they haven't. Now, a financial coup attempt is being carried out against CHP municipalities under the instructions of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan."
