Özgür Özel sends 'normalization' message via teachers

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel stated that he stands with the demands of the teachers who were detained while protesting in front of the Turkish Private Schools Association, saying, "The police being positioned against a constitutional right is an indication that normalization is not understood."
REVERSE HANDCUFFS ON TEACHERS
The teachers, who later held a sit-in protest in front of the Provincial Directorate of National Education, were detained with reverse handcuffs.
Members of the union in Ankara also started a sit-in protest at Parliament Park for the release of the union member teachers.
The detained private sector teachers were released after their statements were taken.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel made a post on his social media X account for the detained private sector teachers.
In his message, Özel said, "We stand with the demands for a base salary and secure working conditions of the private sector teachers who were detained while protesting in front of the Turkish Private Schools Association.
