Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel has undergone surgery for the second time following the election marathon.
According to a report by T24, Özel, who had a vocal cord procedure the day before, has now undergone eye surgery.
CHP Ankara MP Murat Emir performed the cataract surgery, during which a lens was inserted into Özgür Özel's eye to improve his vision.
BÖKE MADE THE STATEMENT IN FRONT OF THE YSK
Özel had attended the Party of European Socialists (PES) Leaders' Summit, the umbrella organization for European social democratic parties, in Bucharest the day before, and subsequently went to his party's statement in front of the Supreme Election Council (YSK) yesterday. The statement in front of the YSK was delivered by CHP Deputy Chairman for Legal and Election Affairs Gül Çiftçi and Secretary General Selin Sayek Böke, while Özel did not speak.
