According to a report by Birgün, CHP leader Özgür Özel, who held a meeting with some MPs in his office at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), discussed ideas regarding a possible new party formation and its social repercussions. The MPs who attended the meeting stated that the demand for a new party coming from the base has increased remarkably in recent times. According to information leaked from the meeting, it is stated that support for a new party, which was at the 10 percent level at the beginning of the "absolute nullity" process within the party, has visibly increased and reached 70 percent today.

In the general atmosphere encountered by some CHP MPs in the field, it was stated that citizens evaluate the developments as an attempt to "sabotage the march to power." It is noted that many CHP members argue that they should stand by the names behind the successes brought to the party.
ÖZEL'S MESSAGE ON AN ALTERNATIVE ROADMAP
It is reported that during the meeting, Özel also shared with the MPs that alternative roadmaps are ready for what is described as a "disaster scenario," in which the CHP cannot participate in elections or the current null management continues not to hold a convention. It was stated that he gave a message of unity with the words, "If they block our march to power, we will open a path, and we will walk that path together."
It was learned that the chairman warned the MPs "not to resign from the CHP" and emphasized the importance of remaining active in the base until a move toward a new party is made.
CLOSE MONITORING OF MPS BY HEADQUARTERS
According to information obtained from party corridors, the CHP Headquarters is taking an active stance to prevent fragmentation within the party. It was noted that the Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu administration will closely monitor MPs who are not openly on Özel's side and will personally convey the message, "We want to work together in harmony."
It is being discussed that during this process, Kılıçdaroğlu will strengthen his call to "stay in the party" by meeting with MPs personally and will increase pressure, especially until July 20, to prevent scenarios of a new formation.
