The destination for this week's rally is Aydın. This rally holds great importance for the CHP due to Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu's resignation from the CHP and her subsequent joining of the AKP.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel shared a post on his social media account ahead of the rally, which will be held at 20:00 at the Aydın Atatürk City Square.

Inviting all residents of Aydın to the rally, Özel made references to Çerçioğlu without naming her.

“Today we are in Aydın, the land of the Efes!

We will meet with those who do not bow to the oppressor's path, those who are not afraid, and those who do not cower.

We will not stop until the short straw gets its due from the long straw, until justice comes to these lands!”
