Özlem Çerçioğlu accuses Özgür Özel of 'insensitivity': She made striking statements

Following CHP Chairman Özgür Özel's remarks regarding his meeting with her, in which he said 'she was anxious, her voice was trembling,' all eyes turned back to Özlem Çerçioğlu, who has been rumored to be moving to the AKP. 

Çerçioğlu explained the events from her own perspective to former State Minister Mehmet Sevigen and made several allegations.

I could not have remained independent without joining the AK Party; I would have been left without support, and there are still three and a half years left; the people of Aydın expect service from me...

I went to the prosecutor's office and filed a complaint against Mr. Özgür; I have filed a lawsuit.

I am a mayor who came to office through a primary election; they provided me with no support in Aydın. 590 village headmen supported me voluntarily.

I was pressured over the children I adopted as a foster family!

The area they wanted to open for zoning in Kuşadası is the size of 565 football fields...

I met with Özgür Özel in Istanbul with two of my bureaucrat colleagues, but Mr. Özgür acted very insensitively.

I went with my secretary-general and a city planner colleague; I stated that the revision coming from Kuşadası was wrong. If it had been a legal case, I would have gone there with my lawyer.

Mr. Özgür was holding an opening in Kuşadası. I invited him to the opening of a Cultural Center in Söke; he didn't even look at my face, went to Didim, and opened a park there instead.
