In this context, İlayda Korkulu, who has worked in the municipality's press unit for many years, alleged that she was forced to join the AKP on November 28 and that after she refused, she was subjected to mobbing and her employment contract was terminated.
Korkulu, along with her lawyer Mustafa Dinç, held a press conference in front of the Aydın Courthouse, stating that she would defend both her own situation and other employees who have been victimized in a similar manner. "I am here today before you to defend my rights and to file a criminal complaint on behalf of many colleagues and fellow workers whose livelihoods have been jeopardized," said Korkulu, emphasizing that Atatürk's legacy belongs not to those who submit, but to those who seek their rights.

In her statement, Korkulu said, "I was forced into AKP membership on November 28. After I said 'I will not join,' I was bullied and subjected to mobbing. Now, at this point, my employment contract has been terminated. I have lost my job and my livelihood."
