Parliament issues statement on reports that 'Terror-Free Turkey Commission is going to Ireland'

In a statement made on the TBMM's X account, it was noted, "Various allegations have been brought to the agenda regarding a visit that the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission will allegedly make to Ireland.
In order to inform the public correctly, we would like to state that the visit in question has no connection to the official work of our Commission.
It is understood that this program was planned by some members of the Commission upon the invitation of a non-governmental organization, entirely within the framework of their own personal initiatives and personal schedules," the statement read.
