Decision to establish Parliamentary Investigation Commission for infant deaths published in Official Gazette

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) decision to establish a Parliamentary Investigation Commission to investigate all aspects of infant deaths occurring in certain private healthcare institutions, following a joint proposal by political party groups, has been published in the Official Gazette.

With the "Decision on the Establishment of a Parliamentary Investigation Commission to Investigate All Aspects of Infant Deaths Occurring in Certain Private Healthcare Institutions, to Examine the Practices and Legislation of Private Healthcare Institutions in Neonatal, Pediatric, Disabled, and Elderly Care Services, and to Determine Necessary Measures," the commission, which will consist of 22 members, will have a working period of 3 months and will be able to work outside of Ankara when necessary.
