PAVING STONE THROWN

A masked suspect arrived in front of the District Headquarters during the night, threw two paving stones he had pried from the sidewalk at the building's windows, and fled.

The security guard at the building noticed the incident and chased after the attacker, but after the suspect got away, he reported the situation to the police.

Police teams arrived at the scene following the report and launched an investigation to apprehend the fleeing suspect. The police conducted an examination of the building where the windows were broken. Work has begun to identify the attacker from security camera footage.

'I STRONGLY CONDEMN THIS HEINOUS ATTACK'

AKP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe stated in a post on his social media account, "I strongly condemn the heinous attack carried out against our AK Party Beylikdüzü District Headquarters last night, and I want to clearly state that we will pursue this matter before the law against those who planned and supported this treacherous attempt."

Footage recorded by the District Headquarters' security camera shows the security guard noticing the stone thrown at the building's window and running outside to catch the attacker.
