A person has died after being struck by a car driven by Nizip Mayor Ali Doğan in the Alanya district of Antalya.
The car with license plate 27 AGU 194, driven by Gaziantep's Nizip Mayor Ali Doğan (49), struck Rami Ali Surul, a Danish national who was attempting to cross the D-400 highway in the Kestel neighborhood of Alanya.

Upon notification by bystanders, health, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident. Medical teams determined that Surul had lost his life.
Following the accident, the driver, Ali Doğan, was released under judicial control by the criminal judgeship of peace.
