Penalties in betting investigation announced: Numerous footballers and referees sanctioned

The Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) has officially announced new penalties as part of its betting investigation.

The penalties announced in the statement from the TFF are as follows:

In the meeting of the Professional Football Discipline Committee dated 16.12.2025 and numbered 37, regarding those referred to our Committee in accordance with Article 57 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions (FDT):

197 amateur-status footballers who are included in "A Team" lists or who can be played in professional matches by being written on the match sheet in accordance with the relevant league statutes,

27 footballers whose investigations were completed, in addition to the 1024 footballers referred to the PFDK on 10.11.2025,

The decisions taken regarding 22 referees within the scope of an additional investigation, in addition to the 152 referees referred to the PFDK on 28.10.2025, and 2 referees whose investigation was previously decided to continue by our Committee, are stated below.
