While the free public transportation during the Ramadan Feast holiday in Istanbul has led to heavy crowds, tense moments occasionally occur among citizens bothered by the congestion.
A fight broke out for an unknown reason among passengers traveling on a ferry operating the Eminönü-Üsküdar route.
PEPPER SPRAY USED
In the argument, which is believed to have started over a seat, one of the passengers sprayed pepper spray at the other, which she had taken out of her bag.
As surrounding passengers fled to avoid being affected by the pepper spray, the female passengers were seen hurling insults at each other.
The fight continued from Eminönü all the way to Üsküdar, and the female passenger who had pepper spray sprayed in her eyes sought help from security personnel and filed a complaint against the person who used the spray.
