Perinçek harshly criticizes Bahçeli's Öcalan call! 'Bahçeli is not the game-maker, he is a player!'

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, in his speech at his party's TBMM Group Meeting, stated, "Today I will speak from the heart of the book, in a way that leaves no room for interpretation," and made a call to PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, saying, "If the isolation of the terrorist leader is lifted, let him come and speak at the DEM Party group meeting in the TBMM, and declare that terrorism has completely ended and the organization has been disbanded. If he shows this resolve and determination, the path should be opened wide for the necessary legal arrangements regarding the use of the right to hope and for him to benefit from it. Let the address extend from Imralı to DEM, not Kandil or Edirne, and let this heavy and historical terror problem be completely removed from the country's agenda. I challenge you, we are ready for this. We are ready to the end to swallow even this for the sake of the homeland, nation, state, flag, common future, and full independence," he said. While Bahçeli's words stirred political circles, Vatan Party Chairman Doğu Perinçek stated, "Neither the President, nor the AK Party, nor any nationalist will be a partner to these proposals."

Harshly criticizing Bahçeli's statements, Vatan Party leader Doğu Perinçek said the following:

"We can only define Bahçeli's speech as recklessness. What law is this, what state is this? It can only be US and Israeli laws. Bahçeli is emboldening the PKK. It has no other meaning. As long as these speeches continue, there will be no result other than the growth of the PKK. The PKK is applauding Bahçeli. Neither the President, nor the AKP, nor any nationalist will be a partner to these proposals.

"THE TURKISH NATION WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS PLAN"

It is a speech aimed at dynamiting the Turkish State's initiative for cooperation with Syria. Bahçeli is placing the US-Israel plan in front of Turkey. The Turkish nation will not accept this plan. The managers and members of the MHP who are loyal to the Turkish nation will not surrender to this plan either. The Turkish nation, the Turkish state, and Turkish nationalism have nothing to hope for from Devlet Bahçeli. He is now the hope of the PKK and the US-Israel. He is part of a plan aimed at dismantling the government and dragging Turkey into chaos.

"DEM PARTY WILL BE CLOSED"

You cannot take the PKK out of America's hands. The bond between them is strategic. Their goal is to divide Turkey and the countries of the region to create a so-called Kurdistan, which is in essence a Second Israel. There is no PKK without the US-Israel. The probability of Öcalan coming to Parliament and giving a speech is zero. But this will happen: The DEM members will go to Imralı. Let them give as many speeches to each other as they want there.
