A citizen has attempted suicide at the Şişli-Mecidiyeköy station of the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman metro line in Istanbul.

Istanbul, Mecidiyeköy – M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman metro line services were disrupted due to a passenger attempting suicide at the Şişli-Mecidiyeköy station.
According to a statement made by Metro Istanbul, "Due to a passenger attempting suicide at the Şişli-Mecidiyeköy station on the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman metro line, our Şişli-Mecidiyeköy station has been closed to operations. Our services are running on their normal schedule between the Yenikapı-Osmanbey and Gayrettepe-Hacıosman stations, while shuttle services are being provided between Gayrettepe and Osmanbey" the statement read.
