Following the controversial photo, it was learned that Tom Barrack met with SDF leader Mazlum Abdi and Syrian President Ahmed El Sharaa in Damascus. The meeting addressed ending the conflicts occurring in the northern regions of Syria.
During the meeting, which lasted approximately one and a half hours, the parties reached an agreement to end the ongoing clashes between the Syrian Army and the SDF. At the end of the meeting, a decision for a comprehensive ceasefire across the country was reached.
