APPOINTMENT IN ÇANAKKALE ALSO DREW ATTENTION

Another notable appointment in the CHP was made in Çanakkale.

During the term of former Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Koray Akkuş was appointed to the Çanakkale Provincial Presidency, replacing Levent Gürbüz. Akkuş had resigned from his party and joined the IYI Party after not being nominated by the CHP before the March 31 Local Elections, and there were assessments at the time that the CHP lost the elections during this process.
