Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) has issued a statement regarding the contact evaluated as a "new solution process" by the PKK, following the terrorist attack on its central campus in Ankara that left five people dead and 22 injured.
In the statement made from Qandil, while the TUSAŞ attack was not directly claimed, it was stated: "If this action was carried out by our forces, the HPG will make the necessary statement. However, this action has absolutely no connection to the process being developed, as is being attempted to be portrayed."
'IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT A MEETING IS HELD WITH ÖCALAN'
In the statement, which touched upon the contact established with PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, the phrase "The Kurdish people, with all their structures and components, will take the process that Leader Apo will develop as their basis" was used.
In the statement, the PKK also used the following expressions: "A meeting was held with Leader Apo on Wednesday, October 23. Some messages that Leader Apo wanted to be reflected to the public have also been reflected. It is very important that a meeting was held with Leader Apo after a five-year hiatus. Receiving news from Leader Apo through this meeting has greatly pleased us, our people, and our friends. However, as Leader Apo also stated, the isolation has not been lifted; it continues."
The terrorist organization also demanded that the isolation of Öcalan be lifted.
