The long-awaited statement following the new peace process talks has been released. In a statement issued by the PKK, it was stated, "We have convened the congress, we will announce the decisions."

The statement noted that the congress took place between May 5 and May 7, and that the decisions would be announced later.

The statement said, "Extensive and detailed information and documents regarding the results of the 12th PKK Congress and the decisions taken will be shared with the public very soon, after the results from two different areas are consolidated."

The statement also mentioned that the perspectives and proposals presented to the congress by the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, Abdullah Öcalan, were read and evaluated, and that the short report of the PKK Central Committee was also read and discussed at the congress.

MESSAGE FOR SIRRI SÜREYYA ÖNDER

The statement also included a condolence message for DEM Party member Sırrı Süreyya Önder, who passed away recently, stating, "The 12th PKK Congress also commemorated with respect and gratitude the martyr Sırrı Süreyya Önder, who was one of those who contributed the most to its preparation."
