A single-engine plane that took off from a small airport east of Atlanta crashed near Covington Municipal Airport shortly after takeoff. As a result of the small single-engine plane crash, the 2 people on board lost their lives.
NO COMMUNICATION ESTABLISHED AFTER THE PLANE TOOK OFF
Authorities, who are working to confirm the identities of those who died in the accident, also stated that no communication had been established after the plane took off.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the cause of the accident.
