Polat case: Sıla Doğu released, cries out 'Dilan'

A release decision was issued for Sıla Doğu, the sister of Dilan Polat, who was arrested on charges including money laundering, establishing a criminal organization, and tax evasion.

Sıla Doğu cried outside the prison, repeatedly calling out Dilan Polat's name.

According to the report in Gazete Magazin, Sıla Doğu, who was released from prison after months, had a nervous breakdown when she learned that her sister Dilan Polat had not been released.

Sıla Doğu, who was crying and shouting "Dilan," was calmed down with difficulty by those around her.

DOĞU SIBLINGS RELEASED

A monthly detention review was held yesterday for the couple Dilan and Engin Polat, as well as other individuals including the Polats' siblings, Sıla and Can Doğu.

The 4th Criminal Court of Peace ruled for the continued detention of Dilan Polat, Engin Polat, Sezgin Polat, Ahmet Gün, and Alper Kürşat Polat. On the other hand, it ruled that the other detainees, including Dilan Polat's siblings Sıla Doğu and Can Doğu, would be tried without detention.

Following the development, Sıla Doğu's lawyer, Sibel Bozkulak, stated in a post on her Instagram social media account, "A release decision has been issued for my client Sinem Sıla Doğu."
