After Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as a trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Headquarters, announced that he would come to the provincial building today, party members took action. Party members and citizens gathered at the provincial building continued their vigil against the trustee decision.
Police blockaded the area around the building starting from the morning hours. It was alleged that at least 10 people were detained in the area, where interventions occurred from time to time throughout the day.
