Police officer Barış Üçlü becomes international kickboxing champion

Police officer Barış Üçlü, who serves at the Istanbul Police Department, won the championship at an international kickboxing tournament held in Yalova.

Police officer Barış Üçlü, who serves at the Istanbul Police Department, achieved a significant victory at an international kickboxing tournament held in Yalova, becoming the owner of the gold belt. Üçlü, who reached the top in the tournament where 60 athletes from 20 different countries competed, honored both Turkey and the police force.

"WE ARE DETERMINED TO CONTINUE OUR SUCCESS, GOD WILLING"

Sharing his feelings after the tournament, Barış Üçlü touched upon the intense preparation process he went through on the road to the championship and said the following:

“I had previously participated in amateur boxing matches, but this tournament was a major test for me in the professional arena. I carried out my preparations with disciplined and intense training, which brought success. I felt great pride in winning the gold belt. My goal is to continue representing both our country and our police force in the best way possible on the international platform. I would like to thank the Istanbul Police Department for their support; we are determined to continue our success, God willing.”
