Police officer caught with drugs in Çankırı

An operation was conducted in Çankırı targeting Ö.E., a police officer serving at the Çankırı Police Department, who had been under surveillance for a long time by teams from the Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch of the Provincial Police Department.
During a search of the police officer's vehicle, who was apprehended on the Çankırı-Kastamonu highway, 1,940 drug pills and 10 grams of narcotics were seized.
The police officer, who was taken into custody, was arrested by the judge following the completion of procedures at the police station.
