Police statement regarding the attack on the DEM Party district office
Two suspects have been detained in connection with the shooting at the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Sultangazi District Office.

Following a report that the DEM Party Sultangazi District Office was shot at on September 28, teams from the Istanbul Counter-Terrorism Branch launched an investigation and identified M.K. as the suspect.
The teams determined that the suspect carried out the incident using a vehicle with fake license plates and was in contact with T.Ç. and İ.G. While T.Ç. has been taken into custody, efforts to apprehend İ.G. are ongoing.
Furthermore, it was determined that the suspect M.K. has a criminal record for "intentional injury," "counterfeiting currency," "violation of Law No. 6136," "property damage," and "violation of residential immunity."
