Poll results show citizens want 'change of government for prosperity': AKP-MHP voters' preference draws attention
According to a MetroPOLL Research survey, 67.1 percent of citizens believe a change of government is necessary for prosperity. The research company shared the results of a survey conducted with 1,219 participants between January 15 and 21, 2026.

In the survey titled "Is a change of government necessary for prosperity?", participants were asked, "Do you think a change of government is necessary for your living conditions to improve?"
Accordingly, 67.1 percent of the participants answered "Yes," while the rate of those who did not agree with this idea was only 31.4 percent. 1.5 percent of the participants answered "No opinion/No answer."
AKP AND MHP VOTERS ALSO SAID 'YES'
The survey also included the political party preferences of the voters.
Accordingly, 39.7 percent of AKP voters answered "Yes" to the question in the survey.
This rate was 41.3 percent among MHP voters.
