Presenter Cansu Canan Özgen, who works at Tv100, was defrauded after being called from a line resembling a bank number.

According to the report by Armağan Yılmaz from Sabah; last December, a person named Mustafa A. called Cansu Canan Özgen from a line that looked like a bank number. He told the famous presenter that a transaction needed to be performed for account security. Özgen was convinced that the caller was a bank employee. The suspect, having accessed the presenter's private bank details, transferred 450 thousand liras from her account to another account. Realizing the situation, Özgen immediately called bank officials.

10 YEARS OF IMPRISONMENT SOUGHT

After her accounts were blocked, the famous presenter went to the prosecutor's office and filed a criminal complaint. In her statement, Özgen stated that an attack had been carried out against her personal rights and that she had suffered financial and moral damages. Following the investigation, the suspect Mustafa A. was caught, taken into custody, and sent to prison by the court. A lawsuit has been filed against Mustafa A. with a request for 10 years of imprisonment for the crime of "qualified fraud."
